My 350Z, is still creaking at the rear, seems like rear left, even after i got my axle clicking done, anyone any idea's, only does it when turning left on like say mounting a kerb, or a slant in the land, i notice it when pulling onto dirve, anyone got the same prob, or had it fixed, ?

 

Help me, getting my 350z, immac for the summer meets ?

Mine was the same; it was the rear anti-roll bar drop link bushes (they dry out). Peel back the rubber boot a little and use spray grease on the joint. Cured mine.

Hmm, that sounds interesting - any pics? (Mine creaks like an old Spanish Galleon at the rear - usually when reversing over uneven ground. e.g. Up the kerb and onto the driveway.)

None from the car, but this is from the Manual.

 

 

 

Circled/arrowed bit is the drop link. Try and move the link where it bolts to the anti-roll bar and if it's dry and creaking you'll hear it groaning. Mine made an almighty racket; just a bit of grease around the joint, a few miles to bed it all in and noise has now gone.

Thanks for th pic, im going to give that a go and ill get back to you guys, let you know if it cures it. And yeah mine does it went going over a slant or say half mounting a kerb ?

Might give this a go on mine, rear is starting to creak a little. I'll get the muppets at the dealership to do it. I'll point and they can grease ;)

Hopefully going into the dealers tonight as I have developed a rattling from under the steering column as well. Should be a quick fix for both I'm hoping.
