Got pulled up in South Africa on our honeymoon two years ago at a spot check. Copper asks where we've been etc and then asks "have you got your passport with you?" "No" says I, he replies "that'll be a 500 rand fine" I was so gobsmacked I didn't say much, then he burst out laughing, he said my face was a picture!! :) and sent us on our way. On that basis i love SA traffic police :teeth:
