muzzer Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 when accelerating when cold any suggestions? hopefully nothing. ps great site and forum. Quote
M13KYF Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 can you be more specific, for instance where the sound is coming from Quote
muzzer Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 Sorry - from the rear of the car generally. The closest I can imagine is if the wheel arches were full of gravel or salt and it was falling out. Quote
M13KYF Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 could be clicky axle. Do a search on here, Known issue. Quote
glrnet Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Just a thought http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/69601-fix-marbles-in-a-can-rattling-noise-when-driving-at-low-rpm-1000-2000/ Quote
Mark@Abbey m/s Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 Could be detonation, are you running 95 or 98 octane fuel? Quote
muzzer Posted April 4, 2013 Author Posted April 4, 2013 Thanks all. Am running on the higher octane fuel> My car has gravel trays!?!? Quote
Fisherking Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Check the undertrays as if it sounds like gravel it probably is or at least worth checking if it is 1st. There is a Fix pinned to this forum http://www.350z-uk.c...-rpm-1000-2000/ Try it and see how you get on. Be interesting if it is this. Please let us know Matt Quote
