Ashton Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 (edited) A 350z I have been thinking of looking at I have been told has a problem with traction control going on and off...could this be because of the tyres which are being used? 19x10" alloys with 245 35 19 tyres all round. Any thoughts? Thanks Edited April 1, 2013 by Ashton Quote
MidnightRacer Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Yes! The rears are supposed to be larger than front. If they are all the same then the car thinks the rears are going faster hence the tc cutting in 1 Quote
Ashton Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 What would you suggest a suitable setup for the 19x10 alloys? Thanks MidnightRacer Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Usually a 9.5 to 10.5 wheel tends to have a 275/35/19 tyre... 1 Quote
cs2000 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 People always seem to forget this with TC, if you change the rolling radius of the tyres the TC can easily get confused as it things wheels are rotating differently to what they are! may mate has done a similar thing in his Audi, got lower profile tyres on his fronts and his TC randomly comes on for no reason as it thinks the wheels are spinning faster than the rears.
