Vlad Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Searched, incl other forums, but just got confused lol Do you need to remove bumper to remove rear indicators(full assembly, not just bulb)? Or just take brake lights off and then squeeze your hand down and "push" it out? How is it attached to the bumper? Clips on each side or screws/bolts? Thanks Quote
Wasso Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 (edited) I'm dead sure they screw into the bumper. You should see the screw holes on the bumper nearest on this pic. Edited March 25, 2013 by Wasso Quote
Vlad Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Damn it... thats the answer I didnt want ahahah Thought it might be a quick job removing them lol Thanks for the info/pics Quote
Wasso Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Just remember that when you take the bumper off that you don't close the boot as your boot release stays with the bumper. You can always use the manual opener under the strut but just be aware etc. Quote
marzman Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I've read that you can man handle them out from underneath the car, if you can unscrew them from the top first. Never managed this myself though, but i would try again this way as it's a pain in the arse to get the rear bumper off. Quote
Vlad Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Is there any space from the top to unscrew them? I know there is enough space to change bulb, but what about fitting a screw driver/socket? Quote
cs2000 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I doubt there's enough room from the top. There's just about enough to get the bulb out! Quote
narcotix Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 I removed my indicators when I cleared the rear fog light .. You'll need to drop the rear bumper slightly to get enough access to remove them ... I followed this guide: http://www.350z-tech.com/wiki/index.php?title=Rear_Bumper_Removal Quote
