Cowmonkey Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Hey guys, Sorry I hate to bring up something that must (surely!) have been answered already - I've searched and searched but can't find a guide or explanation. I've even stooped to searching for "blinkers" and "repeaters"... My side indicator doesn't flash any more (the one just below the Z logo, behind the front wheel). Is there a tutorial anywhere for changing the bulb? Do I have to attack it from behind the wheel to get the thing out? Cheers! Quote
CrustyCrab Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I managed to get mine out with 'careful' use of a knife. It is only held in by a barb style clip on either side. Once out you can remove the lens but MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LET THE WIRE FALL INSIDE THE FRONT FENDER!! Hope that helps 1 Quote

CrustyCrab Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 LOL. I have done that before, now that was fun :teeth: i bet.... I read it somewhere on the forum when i was putting some silvatec bulbs in. Once i got the lens out i saw how easily the wire would slip inside the fender and taped up the hole until i had swapped bulbs. Quote
cs2000 Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 I almost did that too. I got mine out bu pulling the light housing towards the front wheels and at the same time using a knife to pop the thing out from the wing. They dont really like coming out though and that cable is very short! Quote
