CavemaN1010 Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 I have just replaced the headunit on the bose system (with a fair amount of help from on here) and it sounds poor at best, whilst i expected it not to sound great i was hoping for better....... Is there a way of improving it cheaply i have seen rca boosters would these work and i have seen a thread about someone just replacing the amp with a Genesis profile four..... now whilst i like to think im not a stupid man i do have a less than average understanding of audio electronics. So i ask if there is any advice as to how i can get reasonable sound for as little as possible as i dont have the money for a complete overhaul just yet In advance i thank you Mike Quote
spursmaddave Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 The RCA boosters only increase volume if that's the issue. Changing the HU doesn't improve tje sound greatly just adds funtionality and connection options, to get a better sound you need to be looking at new speakers and new amps Quote
