Chaps,

Bought the Pioneer AVH3400 and got it installed today for £40, result. All looks good but its NOT bluetooth. Only realised when it was fitted. CRAP!!!

What are my options?

Buy a new cheaper one Pioneer DA02 for £150 and take the other one out and sell on ebay (it was £270!!)

Or is there a way I can have bluetooth as I want handsfree.

Any other options?

What a knob I am....

ah the figures dont add up. I could pay someone £70 to take mine out, buy a new one for £150 and sell mine for about £200.....

Or I buy this thing for £95....

Also the DVD player wont fcuking open.....so I could take it back to Car Audio Direct I guess?

Na Ive completely fcuked it up. Just went into it again and downloaded the App Radio and its not compatible with it so I cant even get Sat Nav! Going to have to call call someone out (or do it myself as I saw him do it) and buy the App Radio one, and sell mine on Ebay or try and take it back and get a refund. I am a complete and utter ****!!!

Cheers anyway

Check whether it's Bluetooth compatible - if so you can add the Pioneer DC-BTB200 on to it to deliver Bluetooth handsfree and audio streaming.

Alternatively add a Parrott bluetooth kit on - they are great run them in my other cars for years and works perfect with Pioneer, Alpine and Kenwood stereos and screens

Ah I panicked and went to Halfords and bought the Pioneer SPH D100 for £299! Going to have to try and get a refund from my other one or sell it on ebay! Oh well. The guy will fit it tomorrow for £30 now. So £70 installation in all isnt bad. But its the £580 ive spent on stereos that is the rattler! Maybe I will get £200 back for the other one on Ebay if I do buy it now for like £230 or something,

Cheers anyway guys.

Got it fitted today and it seemed all ok, but the sound is very quiet compared to the one installed yesterday. very strange. Changed the settings on the HU and made it louder, but got a problem with the steering wheel, the volume is so slow, it literally takes about a minute to change up and down, and sometimes it changes the song instead of volume. When the guy installed it he tried the buttons and they worked. Shall I just take the unit off and see if there is a loose connection? Any suggestions on the volume, it goes up to 40 and 40 is loud but not blowing the speakers loud. 20 is very quiet!

Also, I saw the guy take the front panels off (no idea what its called) but is there a thread showing me how to do this? Ie unscrew the surrounding and pull it off as I have looked but cant find it?

Cheers

Does anyone think this could be the problem.

29-007 SWC lead is being used currently (3v) which worked in the Pioneer AVH300 perfectly yesterday. Today in the Pioneer SPHDA100 its not working. I have the 5v 29020 lead as well as I bought both. Could it be this? Shall I switch them over, or just take apart and see if there is a loose connection?

Why would one not work on both?

Yes it will be the adapter, if you dont have any joy speak to incartec they will know the best adapter for your HU & a Zed...

Volume depends on the line out, you may have to splice the RCAs to get a decent volume level unfortunately...

I saw this on here and a post from you. SHould I have not bought this one then!
