rtbiscuit Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 AFM refers to the AFR sensor aka the MAF if it was thelamda it would refer to upstream or down stream O2 sensors Quote
L4V15 Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 Ok great. Thankyou very much. There was a dribble of water on it to be honest when I was checking earlier. Just a bit where it plugs in. I'll try carb cleaner. I'm guessing that's the spray stuff. Thanks again. Quote

L4V15 Posted December 30, 2012 Author Posted December 30, 2012 Well it' been driven loads since the 24th and appears to be cured. Bought some electrical contact cleaner as recommended, cleaned everything I could find including MAF. Also bought some air intake cleaner spray to give the throttle body valve a bit of a clean. Guessing it was one or the other. Thanks for all the help! Now all perfect and ready to sell Quote
scubapics Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Oh dear. At least you be pleased not to have sold someone a porker! Quote
