Anyone have a Blitz R Vit-2 installed?

Have any of you guys got one of these in your car?

Im thinking of getting one as its so easily connected via the OBD port so no splicing etc and if it does oil temperature its even better! Saves me buying a gauge

 

Plus its a pretty cool thing to have

 

Anyone have any info on them?

Why not have a look at my build thread, I have all the ECU info via the ODB port into my iPhone.

 

I can actually stand away from my car and see the readouts wirelessly.

Yup OBD.

 

If you're in iPhone you'll need a wifi OBD, they're about £150 I think. Them the App is about £34.

 

If you're on android, you can connect via Bluetooth and the OBD units are about £80-100. I think.

 

The beauty is you can plug it into any car you like as long as its got OBD capabilities. A mate of mine will be borrowing mine for track day stuff. Simple give him the cable and he will purchase the App.

On Board Diagnostics

 

Multi pin plug, located right hand side of the steering wheel, beneath the hood latch.

 

Basically connects hardware/software to the ECU. Used by garages for engine diagnostics or general viewing of what the ECU see's.
