Sorry guys but £210 in road tax that would be a dream for me. I pay €1348 a year. That’s £921.77.

€1250 / year here in Belgium ;)

+ 5000€ tax when i bought the car to get it registered.

And fuel is about 1.3€ / litre for 98.

And i guess Kev would pay about 2500€ / year in taxes with his 650 overhere ;)

Yeah, thought it was heavy over there - we are not that expensive here. Your income tax is pretty high too isn't it?

Yop, lowest rate is 30% (which starts at earning 6500€ / year) but it goes up pretty quickly, and everything you earn above 30.000€ / year is taxed at 50%, and on the amount of taxes they calculate they add another 6-8% for the city you live in.

Thats why i started my own company instead of just freelancing for some clients. My company does "subcontracting" and it pays me a (modest) salary. Revenue generated by companies is only taxed at 25% if you follow the right rules so ....

And stuff like the Z is company car ofcourse :p

Depends a bit, i think it was about 1250€ after taxes / month last time i heard on the news.

Now of course the cost of owning/renting a house is lower than in England too. Here you can rent a decent flat for 600€ / month.
