Suppose it depends on how long you plan to keep the car. Absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of the OEM plastic undertray and they certainly do not fall apart. They are manufactured from a thick flexible durable plastic and if fitted properly will give years of satisfactory service. However new ones are quite expensive, but preowned are great value.
