Yupp Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 Ok so I just spent the past two hours sitting in my zed sweating my nackers off swapping out the jdm nav screen and DVD drive for what I was told a 2004 UK GT screen and drive. I turned her on and everything was still is jap so I put my new map DVD in the drive that I bought from http://www.satnavi.com/nissan.php (option 2) and it came up as navigation loading please wait, it did this for about 10 minutes and the screen turned on/off and repeated itself.... Any ideas chaps? I'm going to have a look around the Internet and see if I can find an alternative download and maybe chuck a drive cleaning disk in there just in case. From what I've been reading am I correct in thinking that a first need a nav cd to load the software etc then put the map DVD in afterwards? 350SX Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Did you get anywhere with this? Mine has the Japanese writing on the screen and I wouldn't mind getting a UK system to work properly on it.
