WoREoD Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 Need some advice please! I have a very old set of binoculars, metal cased, 10 x 50 and they have done the job well for over 20 years. However, times move on and I'm looking to find some replacements that are lighter but have an equivalent spec. It seems the 10x magnification is fairly easy to find. However, most of the lightweight ones seem to be around the x 25 spec, which I seem to remember is the field of vision. Would I really be halving the field of vision if I went to some 10x 25s? Or have specifications changed? TIA Quote
