Hi all,

just got my 02 fairlady and i cant find the thin connector that plugs in to the back of the controls,

can anyone help as i have had all the lower dash apart looking for the wires just woundering if im missing summit?

as in the same area behind where the controls fit their are 3 connectors of a bigger size.

just confussed as its the last bit to sort on the inside befor i start on body panels

There should be a white box with the cable coming out of it.

 

 

Was the car a write-off or what? What are you actually doing to the car?

Yes if you remove the gear surround and heater controls behind there tucked away at the back is a white box with a ribbon cable coming out of it.

 

This is the control unit.

Yep I think he's already in at it, I reckon its not there to be honest as it is pretty obvious.

Or maybe the ribbon cable has been ragged off?

looking at his previous posts, he's bought this car which was getting sold off as parts and bought the lot and now rebuilding it.

 

I'm gonna hazard a guess that the breakers already sold this part

 

 

OP can you please take some pictures and upload them to photobucket, copy the IMG tag and paste it in a post on this thread.

It will make it much easier for us to help you out.

i will get a pic tomorrow of it but by the sounds of it,

like people have said its been taken already, because if their is a control box i assume the other 3 bigger plugs fit in to this then the ribbon cable connects the two

well im gonna get a wedge of cash up together and visit a breakers with a zed in and go on a massive parts gathering to look more car like

only trouble is most of them are up north
