06 bluetooth - right speaker only

I'm probably being a numpty here but my factory fitted blutooth kit seems a bit crappy. Audio only comes out of the right speak only when the phone is in use and volume has to be at max (I have the Bose Stereo on the GT pack) to hear the caller.

 

The radio works just fine, max volume will deafen you and both speakers work.

 

Is mine knackered or has anyone else got this problem ?

Mines the same so i'm guessing its a 'design feature'

but isn't it a separate speaker somehwere in the dash ?
