Replacement nuts needed for MW Tech Spacers

Recommended Posts

Hi All. I bought some MW Tech spacers but after having to remove them I found that the nuts provided are very soft and even when taking the greatest care, they started to round/peel.

Can anyone suggest where I could get some hardened metal nuts from? They are tappered to fit flush with the spacer surface.

Thanks

CS is sourcing me a couple of Eibach spacer nuts as the same thing happened to mine :surrender:

Just realised you probably mean stronger bolts, but I think the softer ones are fine as long as they are not tightened up like wheel nuts because the spacers are aluminium and the bolts dig in if they are over tightened, that's what my forum technical advisor told me ;)

No No, its the small tappered nuts that bolt the spacer to the OEM hub

I think we are talking about the same thing.... the nuts that hold the spacers on, thats what I had a problem with too, they were tightened too much and had to be mangled to get them off :surrender:

YES!!!

Mine are not that bad but could see them going int hat direction if they came on and off a few more times

Any retailers able to supply anything a little stronger?
