Removing facelift sat nav

Hi guys

 

I am trying to do the Bose hack this week and have come stuck on how to remove the Sat nav.

 

I am following this guide:

But I have the nav and not a cubby hole. How do I get it out?

You should be able to pop up the satnav controls (using a flat screwdriver.... carefully) and just unscrew the bolts.

 

You don't have to take the screen out

I struggled with this bit - there is a thin strip of plastic between the screen and the buttons which must be removed first to reveal two screws, you can then take these out and the buttons pop out.

Use something sharp and plastic, not metal as it will damage it
