coldel Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 ...okay, no sooner had I finished with the Zed I am getting other ideas. I have a set of Volks two piece wheels on the car, bought them used and they were already black centre and polished rim. I am wondering if for the new year I might get the black put back to a more silver/lighter metallic colour. When I bought the wheels off the previous owner I am pretty sure he said he powder coated the centres black - just wondering if it is safe and easy to do them again? Quote
rm cya Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 Yep safe and easy to do them. Probably have to strip the old coat off, dipping them or something. I know of someone who powder coats at a very good price! Done a few of my mates M3 wheels, style 5s etc. cone up really good! Drop us a pm if you like and I'll pass on his details, he's in Heston/hounslow area. Quote

Wasso Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I had mine done via Abbey, the company they use is very good. Also RT now offer powder coating, have a chat with Spurs Dave. Quote
