Karlp Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Had my oil changed on Wednesday and now when I get out the car theres a slight wiff of a burning oil smell which wasnt there before I had my oil changed, is this anything to worry about??? PS Just thought I've just filled up with Super after the service and it had regular in before if this could make a difference? Theres no smoke when I put my foot down etc but the smell does remind me of the porsche 968 I had which had Decats on its a similar smell to that. Quote
Neilp Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Probs oil spilled in the block or manifold when filling it up during service. Have a nosey around. I had this too also. Quote
