theheff Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 hey all. I'm not particularly good with car electronics and the workings etc. what I'm wondering is if the nissan hands free that is installed in my car can be replaced by a parrot ( a Parrot handsfree, not wether a parrot could replace it before anyone says that) or wether the system is specifically wired into the headunit. when i had my RX8 people used to hook parrots up to the bose system in them and I'm sure they could then connect an iPod to the stereo via that. cheers Quote
Zugara Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 have you checked out the parrot web site, sure I have seen a harness for zeds on the web site. Quote
techinstaller Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 yes you can fit a parrot handsfree kit to the 350z,and yes the s.o.t leads are readily available Quote
theheff Posted November 25, 2011 Author Posted November 25, 2011 Will it allow me to use my ipod/iphone to play music through the bose system? Quote
techinstaller Posted November 25, 2011 Posted November 25, 2011 have a look at the mki9100 or mki9200 parrot kits which are designed with the iphone and ipod in mind ,you can plug the iphone / ipod into the kit and keep it charged up if you want and have full control of the device from the h/free kit Quote
