ioneabee Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 hi all done about 200 miles now - have read else where, that it would be a good idea to replace the oil and filter at around this mark to get rid of the "new" engine contaminents. Is this recommended, what have others done ? and if so - what oil and filter should be used cheers Andy Quote
R35LEE Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Oil change at 200-500 miles is good for a new engine. As your still running the engine in use 5/30 Ester based Nissan recommended oil. Then when engine is ran in revert to a fully synthetic I did the same with my engine that is now at 3,900 miles and ran in nicely Quote
