Headlining cleaning?

Have done the "search" thing and followed recommendations, even vanish in warm water but my headlining still looks grubby.

The previous owner must have been very tall and used a lot of hair care products as there is a dark grubby area above the drivers head. ( that or he had a massive perm )

 

I've tried to clean it and the whole headlining but just seem to be making it worse!

 

Any advice gladly appreciated.

carpet cleaner/wet vac? See if any of the local valet places have them. I'm pretty sure that'll do the trick.

Funnily enough this was something I had contemplated but grey not black. That way i don't have to do all the plastic bits and the visors.

I brought my old cars interior back to life with a foam cleaner.... You spray it on and scrub it with the brush supplied. Turtle do one and you can get them in Halfords

Autoglym Interior Shampoo and lightly scrub with a nail brush.
