jim Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 The power socket behind the driver's seat does not appear to be working. Anybody know which fuse covers this item? How easy is it to remove the rear panels to gain access to the socket? Quote
lomoto Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 just give the panels a good tug Jim and they pop out, sorry no idea on which fuse though Quote
jim Posted December 16, 2006 Author Posted December 16, 2006 Thanks Tim. Will have a go at it tomorrow. Quote
rickya Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 May not be socket, some phone chargers work in mine, others dont. Tom Tom does, but car battery restorer doesnt! Quote
captint Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 You could try a splitter and see if that works Quote

No - I've tried a few different items - satnav, tyre inflater, light, phone charger. Nothing works. Doesn't appear to be any power getting to the socket and I don't know how else to check it. Quote
kerbside*motors Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 Check all the interior fuses. Nissan are good at wiring things through certain circuits them forgetting to write it in the handbook! If they are ok, look at what you are trying to plug into it. I have seen people plug Satnavs and phone chargers with faulty plugs in and claim the cigar lighter doesn't work! Assuming all that is ok then try and get behind the socket. Start with the easy and obvious stuff before ripping the interior apart! Quote
