Cragus Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I have the scorpion back and centre fitted along with a japspeed y pipe and japspeed decats. I wanted to decat after hearing a fellow members and went for japspeed as a good deal happened to come up at the time. Haven't looked back though - sound is awesome! Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Scorpion zorst, Stillen Y and berk HFCs are a good combo... sold a lot of these to members, sounds very Quote
Dano190485 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 how much for the stillen y pipe mate? Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Current price is £250 delivered... 3-5 working days Quote
Cragus Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 You know you want it Dano. Pretty sure Stillen is more robust as a y pipe given that it has no flexijoints and a support bar to cut down on vibrations. Quote
Dano190485 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 and is this compitable with the hr 313 Quote
Dano190485 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 what set up do you have then cragus? Quote
Tarmac@TarmacSportz Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Definately more robust... no flexi's sutiable for 2003 - 2008 350Z Quote
Neilp Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Definately more robust... no flexi's sutiable for 2003 - 2008 350Z My flexis on my nismo y-pipe act as a bump stop to tell me when the ground is getting very close to my bum Quote
Dano190485 Posted July 20, 2011 Author Posted July 20, 2011 lol yeah i realised that once i wrote the message so why didnt you go stillen then cragus? and why you choose decats rather than berks hfc Quote
Cragus Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Again read my first message - a good deal came up at the time on the japspeed y and decats so I went for them. If I was buying new, Stillen would be my choice and either high flow cats and decats to give it the noise it derserves. Decats will be a little louder but can cause the o2 sensors error code to light up on the dash. Plus, unless you have a friendly MOT station, you will need to remove them each time. Quote
Neilp Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 decats ftw , hfc's even though they are less restrictive than normal cats will never be as good for power gains than decats. Decats are just straight through bits of pipe with no restrictions. Quote
