Right above your post in this section is a very helpful thread which you could read through

Or you could use the search function

Read this though. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16403

Why would you fit it in the cubby?

What would you put in the place of the original stereo thats already fitted?

If you want something in the cubby, there are better options. Nurrish does a Sat-Nav system, and Cookbot has just started making in-car PC systems.

Just bought a Clarion MAX678RVD off ebay...

http://www.clarion.com/gb/en/products/2 ... 80854.html

Just wanted to know what extras do I need if any, do i need additional cabling for steering wheel controls, a new fascia etc, also would it be possible to fit it in the the top compartment where my factory fitted satnav is?

Cheers Guys

Did you buy it from me?

Lexx

Reason I would put it in the the cubby is because the original sat nan is a bit crap and the height of the cubby for sat nav viewing is better then where the standard stereo sits to be honest I would prob leave the original in because I like listening to my tapes which i've not done in for years or turn it into storage.

I know about the about sat navs from the guys here but they were above my budget.

lol are you being serious how much?

Its more hassle then its worth to try and keep the bose headunit in place.

Is your 350 a facelift or not?

It's pre face lift 04 plate, ok think i'll take it out and but the Clarion in it's place.

Can you help with this also i've posted it in the sticky post also but not had a response yet and want to order the parts ASAP ...

Is this all i need to fit the Clarion..
