Hi guys, I hope this in the correction section. I don’t drive my beast much but last month I noticed the handbrake light and the traction control light were both constantly on while driving, it would go off sometimes but generally stay on. A few weeks later the same lights were still on this time they were joined by the engine management light. I took it for a spin a few days ago and now just the engine management light is on, the acar seems to drive fine....Any ideas.

I've only had my beast for a month, before that i had an Astra VXR, New shape Civic Type R, Renualtsport Megane 225 cup and lastly the new shape Megane coupe. I can honestly say I can't imagine not having a zed, I had to buy a Toyota Yaris to fit the kids in, but when I get back in the zed I always say yo myself "i'm never getting rid of this"... i soppose the time will come one day but hopefully then I'll be able to afford a 370z Feeling your pain mate.

It's pre face lift 04 plate, ok think i'll take it out and but the Clarion in it's place. Can you help with this also i've posted it in the sticky post also but not had a response yet and want to order the parts ASAP ... Is this all i need to fit the Clarion.. ICT 50-256 - Nissan 350Z Pre 06 Double Din - Facia ICT 29-645 - Nissan Navara/Xtrial/350z USC Loom - Universal Steering Wheel Control Loom ICT 29-003 - Clarion head-unit lead - this is for the steering wheel controls ICT 23-007 - TURBO 1 Variable line driver - not sure if this is needed?

Lexx Reason I would put it in the the cubby is because the original sat nan is a bit crap and the height of the cubby for sat nav viewing is better then where the standard stereo sits to be honest I would prob leave the original in because I like listening to my tapes which i've not done in for years or turn it into storage. I know about the about sat navs from the guys here but they were above my budget. Dblock lol are you being serious how much?

Just bought a Clarion MAX678RVD off ebay... http://www.clarion.com/gb/en/products/2 ... 80854.html Just wanted to know what extras do I need if any, do i need additional cabling for steering wheel controls, a new fascia etc, also would it be possible to fit it in the the top compartment where my factory fitted satnav is? Thanks for the replies I'll defo PM Cookbot about the folding mirrors. Think I might as well buy a new stereo with a built in sat nav. I remember someone on the forum was making them, think i saved the link somewhere.

Hi Guys, Been reading the forum on and off for some time and just want to say it’s one of the best I’ve been on, the people on here are really helpfully and friendly, I’m glad I can now join in.. Over the years I’ve being playing with the idea of buying a 350z but petrol and the two seats with 3 kids always put me off. Anyway over the past 6 weeks I thought what the hell I want one so I sold my car and bought a 350z, also looking for 1.0 Toyota Yaris The problem I have now is I can’t take the stupid grin off my face and the butterflies out of my stomach when I’m driving, the last time I had this feeling driving a car was when I took a Ferrari round a track. Anyway now I finally have one I have a couple of questions, I’ll also search the forum for answers later when I get chance but as I’m typing now I thought I might as well ask.... 1. Is there a way for the electric folding mirrors to fold in automatically when the engine is off? 2. I have the factory fitted sat nav but it’s a bit dated can the software be upgraded? If it can’t I might sell it..are they in demand. 3. I have the 6 disk CD changer but can’t get a CD in, it tells me to “press eject “ which I do but nothing happens I can just hear the magazine spinning ,is there a way of resetting the CD unit or does it sound faulty? 4. Typical of my luck drove the car back home after I just bought it and the widow wouldn’t close, I took the door panel off and gave the motor a clean but it was pretty clean to start with, so looks like the motor has packed up, not sure if I should get a refurbished motor, a new one or the best place to get it from? 5. Finally if I can’t get my CD player sorted I’ll have to buy a double din stereo, are all double din systems the same size/will I need an additional brackets.
