Why would you fit it in the cubby?

What would you put in the place of the original stereo thats already fitted?

 

If you want something in the cubby, there are better options. Nurrish does a Sat-Nav system, and Cookbot has just started making in-car PC systems.

Reason I would put it in the the cubby is because the original sat nan is a bit crap and the height of the cubby for sat nav viewing is better then where the standard stereo sits to be honest I would prob leave the original in because I like listening to my tapes which i've not done in for years or turn it into storage.

 

I know about the about sat navs from the guys here but they were above my budget.

Its more hassle then its worth to try and keep the bose headunit in place.

 

Is your 350 a facelift or not?

 

It's pre face lift 04 plate, ok think i'll take it out and but the Clarion in it's place.

 

Can you help with this also i've posted it in the sticky post also but not had a response yet and want to order the parts ASAP ...

 

Is this all i need to fit the Clarion..

 

ICT 50-256 - Nissan 350Z Pre 06 Double Din - Facia

ICT 29-645 - Nissan Navara/Xtrial/350z USC Loom - Universal Steering Wheel Control Loom

ICT 29-003 - Clarion head-unit lead - this is for the steering wheel controls

ICT 23-007 - TURBO 1 Variable line driver - not sure if this is needed?

Thats correct if its non bose? The bose loom is ICT 29-674. Also i wouldnt bother with the line driver just yet as it may not be needed.
