Chesterfield Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Just noticed this today, and I think its wrong, but could somebody put mymind at rest either way.... In most cars if you have your headlights on, when you turn the ignition off, they go to sidelights. Well my Z doesn't. In fact I can take the keys out of the ignition and still have the headlights on, in fact I can turn on main beam and have the keys in my hand. Surely this isnt right.. is it?? Quote
stevie_350z Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Sounds normal to me... I can remove ignition and full beam stays on I'm pretty sure... Quote
Ian Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Ive had that in some cars ive owned. Ive had some cars that need the ignition on to power any lights and some that you can use the lights without them Quote
monkfish Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Mine does the same, mate. I assume that's the norm. Quote
ir_fuel Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 My 2006Z headlights also stay on with ignition off. Normal behaviour Quote
