silkolene pro s 5 w 40 full synthetic oil

just bought this for my P2 service which is due next week. Can I just ask if this is what is recommended and can I expect any difference in performance that this oil will give?

This is a top quailty choice and absolutely OK and in line with manufacturer's specs.

 

Used it since my first P1 in my supercharged zed (now sold).

 

I doubt you'll notice much difference though TBH - some say it runs smoother, but I think that's a case of having spent the extra on it and wanting to see some benefit.

 

The extra is well spent though - it is a proven oil

I've used this stuff for ages. Used it in my Impreza, now Cossie and used it in my P1 service for the Zed, (now gone).

 

I used 10w 50 in the Cossie and Impreza though as turbo engines need thicker oil.
