where will i find ???

guys im trying to get a new fob for my alarm but to do so i need to find the `brain` the wifey on the phone said behind the dash but i cant find it, i dont really want to pull apart the dash.

 

its a sterling if thats any help

why do you need a new key,

 

if its not working have you tried a new battery, i happen to have lots of them at the moment. (2nd hand unsure of battery level left)

 

or is the battery fine but you lost the key, if so you can buy a replacement and then take it to nissan who will recode the new key to your car; again i have lots of these as well

no matey its not the key, its a new fob for the alarm a sterling one. i need to find the code on the `brain` so they can programme a new fob.

Is your zed a jap import, as this would make sense? sterling being the alarm system they've fitted?

Haha you lot make me laugh, anyway yeah it is a jap import so it has a aftermarket alarm/imobiliser.

 

I had to rip the center console to bits to find it :-(
