CaptainSensible
...anyone with a plenum spacer and lower MREV2 fitted to a rev up engine. Does it change the sound at all? I have a scorpion but would like it a bit louder (plus a few extra ponies).
James B
Traversty! Scorpion is like music to my ears!
introspect
I have that combination. It made the engine have a slightly deeper tone, only slightly though. Overall volume I would say is about the same. If you want more noise I'd go for a y pipe and high flow/decats. They will make much more of a difference to the sound. The lower collector makes in my eyes makes a nice bhp and torque increase. I'll see if I can find my dyno report. Sound is as Intro says slightly noticeable but for a positive reason. I quote a colleague at work "your engine sounds angry"
Wasso
Here you go Note: the dyno report does not take into account any NOS so it gives a true perspective with the mods listed in my sig. Also this is Hub HP rather than Wheel HP. viewtopic.php?f=25&t=42676 If you want to save cash also it's an easy install mod.
CaptainSensible
Thanks for the replies guys, already have a y-pipe, so looks like I'll be getting some HFCs as well!
