andywrx Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Xenons blubs should be covered by 10 year warranty by the bulb manufacturer. A friend of mine just had one go in a Toyota and there dealer replaced it under the bulb manufactures warranty. Find out who make the nissan ones and contact them, if the dealer won't. Quote
Revsport Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 its philips that make them model d2r 35w found them for £60 each online now Quote
Liam's Z Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 Lew how did you get condensation in the lamps anyway??? Quote
Revsport Posted November 10, 2006 Author Posted November 10, 2006 Im not to sure. Put the heat lamp on them to clear it last sat and its been fine since. The caps for the back of the lights had a slight water mark in them too. May have been due to driving in some extreme wet conditions the last few weeks???? Lew Quote
kerbside*motors Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 A tip from the trade here! If you want to remove condensation from your headlamps get an old floormat (Pref black rubber) open the bonnet and place the mat over the headlamp and close the bonnet to retain the mat. Start the car up and stick main beam on. Probably not great for bulbs if you have to do this all the time but a good trick to clear condensation quickly to check headlamp alignment for example. Quote
Revsport Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 yea i put a cloth over 1 and my heat lamp over the other. Quote
