stevie_350z Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Two options: turn air con off but outside air on + cool air and you are good. or turn air con on + cool air. My normal setting at the moment is AUTO, OUTSIDE AIR, 20DEG, No aircon. Edit: took me a while, being a bit thick, to realise that OUTSIDE AIR on its own often did the same job as AIRCON. Quote
H5 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 It's just where the air initially pushed through is warmer than the screen and the air con hasn't started dehumidifying. All systems do it at this time of year when the temp drops at night and the engine retains some heat. BTW, also get the drainage tube double checked that it's not blocked. Could be the start of a longer term problem where you'll get wet feet!! Quote
Stew Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 Is checking the drainage tube a DIY job? If so is there a guide (if you even need one that is.) I don't have a problem but I'm a believer in preventitive measures! Quote
H5 Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 I would've thought so. Only reason I know is my Volvo tube got blocked and the liquid wasn't draining away, until it emptied in the car!! Speak to a dealer to check where it is and then it should be a simple check to make sure when the system has been on and it needs to discharge the condensed moisture it goes outside the car. Quote
Dicky Posted October 28, 2006 Author Posted October 28, 2006 I suppose I could have it looked at under WARRANTY----Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, ---oooooh, that’s a goodun. Quote
