Facelift open cubby in prefacelift dash

I was wondering if its possible to fit the open cubby thats on the facelift cars to a pre-facelift. I have the retractable cubby lid which is broken and was going to replace it but like the look of the newer one. I currently have the birdview satnav in there (which I dont use), will also fit in the facelift one?

Nope i dont think so, its a different shape and size i think. I was looking at fitting a rectractable older one in my facelift dash to hide my car pc screen but i cant.

 

I think there was older dash's that had the flip up lid.

Thanks mate. I asked nurrish and said it can be possible but I'll need a few other parts aswell as the cubby section. I'll try and source the parts and have a go.
