03-06 Cubby door springs

Help needed!

 

I have di-noc'd my centre console which has turned out well, but am trying to re-assemble the cubby door - does anybody know how to load the two springs so that the cubby door lifts properly?

 

Have tried all the most obvious ways but doesn't seem to operate right...any ideas much appreciated!

Just a thought.

Try Nurrish, he plays with them when installing his sat navs systems.
