Who has converted there Z to coilover rears?

So it's been quite a few years since this thread....

Going to be purchasing some coilovers this week. What would be required if I went True Coil?

Since the std spring position is in a different place, you would need to strengthen the original shock mounts to be able to cope with the extra load, bit of a pain when you can get coil and shock setup which does exactly the same thing, there is no advantage in running a genuine coil over set up on the rear.

Apparently I posted in here way back when...I still have not had any issues with my XZY's. I have not done any additional modifications. However a cage is a possibility in the future.
