The above web site seems to say it's the better type. All info greatfully received. She would probably prefer one.But she will probably only use it 20 or 30 times each winter The rest of the time it will be my knocking about bus. Stew Posted October 19, 2010 Share Posted October 19, 2010 I drive an older Freelander with an elise engine in it... It's alright I must say however I got mine for buttons. If I was spending that cash on it I'd be getting something Japanese or a defender! The Gaylander is great at what it does but there are better wee jeeps around for 6-7k in my opinion. Been trawling for x trails (ugly inside) ,CR-V's (most have a zillion miles on them) don't want a RAV4. If it's OK and a good price can be had ,then maybe. God my wife has some great ideas,as said she'll probably only drive it 15 or 20 times a year. (she missed two days of work last year cos of snow) but she's a contractor...no work...no pay..
