245/40/18 on rear?

I am buying a set of Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 for my zed. Sick of those awful Bridgestone RE040's they are death traps in the wet! Anyone tried these?

 

Main question is if anyone else has changed profile and went for 40 instead of 45. And are there any issues with doing so?

off topic,use to have the micky pilot sport 2 on my moter,great wet n dry grip,top tyres

you will have issues, it can mess up the traction control

if you have 40 at the front as well you should be fine. i had no probs at all

with 45 at the front dont do it. i know the 45s will be about £50 more but your ESP/TCS will go mad otherwise

Well if it cause issues with traction control I will just get the 45's. Was really just to balance the profile of the front and back up.

went through a few sets of 45s and 40s when i had the rays on. now using 40s 888s on them with no probs. 45s are stupidly dearer than the 40s but they fill the arch better unless you lower the suspension.
