Mot due

The Z is due it's mot tomorrow. I had it serviced a couple of months ago, anyone got a recommendation of a decent garage local to hagley road Birmingham for the mot? Am I right in thinking the garage doesn't matter that much as it's just having the mot?

I wouldn't worry too much about where to take it, MOT is pretty much a visual check on things so not much they can do wrong (other than brake test on rolelrs apparently!).

I would only take it to a mot station that has been recommended. Some places can be a real pain and pick up on faults that arent even there, but dont worry they'll offer to do the repairs for you straight away and get you back on the road in a few hours.

Not really that close to Hagley Rd,

but for the last 2 years I've used Yale Garage, Church Hill, Northfield, B31 3UB. 0121 475 2958

 

They've booked me in at very short notice. Last year only 1 advisory on the handbrake lever travel, this year no advisories

Use kwik fit they'll be able to fit you in and you'll be able to guarentee the compulsory brake pads need attention tyres and probably discs that they can do for you at a very reasonable price . Had a free MOT with my last car because I was insured with them and funnily enough got all 3
