zedproud Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 My 55 zed with only 14000 miles on the clock has just developed a problem when changing from 1st to 2nd and 5th to 6th.If you change up normally ie straight from one gear into the next it clunks and the occasionaly grinds, but if you take a pause in neutral it is ok.My local garage which i have used for years and completely trust says that it seems to be a fault in the box as opposed to a clutch problem.Surely the synchromesh shouldn't fail at such low mileage.Has anyone else experienced the same problem?.
