350 Russ Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Is it ok to bump start the zed? I've got to work about half an hour ago and forgot I'd left my lights on so now flat battery! I'm reluctant to call out the RAF if I can help it and there's a few of us here so can get a push but It won't damage anything will it? Quote

Wasso Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 As far as I am aware it's only the Automatic cars that are an issue to bump start. I can't see an issue in doing so to the Zed, it's like any other manual car? Quote

Wasso Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Although, if the battery is flat as a dodo then it may be a jump lead start? Quote
IanS16 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I bump started my car twice in france when i fell asleep listening to the radio and I have had no problems Quote
KurtB Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 My bike manual says that bump starting that might damage the cat with fuel, but I done it anyway, as polluting the enviroment is better than walking Probably same thing with new cars! Quote
