Standard Audio?

Ok. I've stripped the car back to standard, and I'm a little confused.

 

When In bought the car I only had it for 1 week before I stripped it out, and since putting it back to standard I noticed that I can't find any standard tweeters anywhere in my house!!

 

Does the standard (NON-BOSE) set up come with front tweeters? I've searched high and low on the door and can't find a socket anywhere, so guessed the car didn't come with any?

 

I've looked in the workshop manual and the wiring suggests that they are present in a standard system

 

Could someone shed any light for me please.

I have no tweeters until yours arrive but mine was a BOSE, seems strange to have the covers and no speakers

Dave, I'd expect not to see them in standard system but would expect to see them fitted in BOSE.

 

Just mad if there not fitted at all.

Maybe for the US market, they had loads of trim levels didn't they?

 

I know for example the Mazda's that have Bose get different spec levels, 5 speaker or 7 speaker and a system that detects background noise and apparently compensates for it

when me and husky put my sounds in i never had any tweeters,...... just the cover with nothing behind it
