How do I know which shade of GM I have?

Hi Guys,

 

I am going to have a bit of painting done to some new parts i have just secured but have read there are two different shades of GM floating about and obviously i would like to find out which one is on my car!

 

I have a UK 53 Plate 350z Coupe if that gives any clues?

You should have a sticker/plate with the paint code on. I think its under the bonnet...... I am sure someone will be along to confirm

Paint code will be the same for the two shades. Whoever you are getting the paintwork done by should have a sample book. On the Nissan page there will be two of the same code but one suffixed with L or light and the other D or dark. Hold this up to your car and you will see which one it is

+1 The garage will have a book of swatches - just hold them up against your car...
