clicky axle repair torque wrench?

Recommended Posts

I am having trouble getting hold of a torque wrench to carry out my clicky axle repair. I have printed out the "How to" by toffeeman and in the comments someone mentions that you need a wrench that goes upto 240nm. My dad has located one that is 1200psi. Does anyone know if this is big enough?

cheers

psi is a unit of pressure (force per unit area) not torque (force multiplied by distance) .......... the imperial unit for torque is pounds force feet or lbf ft

240 N m = 177.0149 lbf ft

Hope this helps
