As the title suggests, Alex has possibly literally been a life saver!

A short while back I bought some front discs and pads and finally got round to fitting them this afternoon....well I paid my friend

 

The new brembo discs and Ferodo pads are amazing, such stopping power made me think I must not have had working brakes before!

...how right I almost was!

Ouch those look painful. I will need new pads for my European trip, don't want to be crashing on the Nurburgring due to worn out pads.

how much left is on the discs? The brake pattern on them don't look to 'hot'

Wasso - I highly recommend Alex for all your braking needs!!

 

My amateur opinion is that the pistons were completely off But I'm no expert in these matters!

The pics don't show it too well, but there's not alot left at all! The lips on the old discs were huge though most of it looks like it had rusted and broken off over the years!

Interesting! As a matter of interest, what year is your car and what is the milage on it...

It's a 53 plate with roughly 60k mileage
