I wondered if anyone knew if I could just get a replacement battery and swap them or if I needed to take it to a main dealer to get the key reprogrammed???? ZMANALEX Posted June 14, 2010 Share Posted June 14, 2010 No need to reprogramme if you are quick with the swop over as the key fob is not happy with the battery removed for more than 30 seconds. I have loads of spare new fob batteries with a sell by date of Sept. 2013, send me over your addy and I will stick one in the post to you. Alex.
