I had a stone hit mine this morning and put a 6" crack in the bottom right corner Will probably need replacing in the next few weeks (if it grows) and I was wondering if anyone had issues with getting a replacement.... I have had windscreens replaced on my previous car - and autoscreens left marks on the inside of the dash and pillars.... Any recommedations / pitfalls to avoid... Krumble. Quote
Guest prescience Posted September 4, 2006 Posted September 4, 2006 Can someone please post up the windscreen removal procedure from the service manual. You should print this off and provide to the installer. The issue is that they will also need the plastic (I think) trim as well as the screen itself. Once they have the procedure, it will be obvious to them and most will carry the parts anyway (probably). Quote
