mhalewood Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 Hi, Today i investigated a small oil leak that seemed to start a couple of weeks ago. To my horror i found that the sump pan was corroded to point that a leak has developed!!! Anybody heard / seen this before ? Need to get it down to the garage to be replaced before it gets any worse - hopefully won't be too costly! Any point me upgrading to a larger oil pan whilst i am at it ? Quote
GT4 Zed Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 yes, - if its cheaper to do so. But i doubt good quality brands are cheaper eg APS, PE, ARC - if you track the car often or envisage FI in future Otherwise buy the OEM sump and rest mate Quote

I you require a metal lower sump pan then I have a few preowned in stock. Alex. Quote
