ade2009
Hi all.. First time in ages I have driven with the with the windows down tonight.. I noticed when cornering there is a noticable knocking clanging kind of sound.. Never noticed it before with windows up.. The car feels and drives fine.. Anyone shed any light on this? Is it something i should be worried about? Thanks..
Demolition49
Could be links? Bushes?
Chesterfield
Darren B was mentioning the same thing happening to his at Wales, perhaps he has found what was causing his?
sasha@lazytrips
I had something that sounded like a constant knocking and still do albeit not as much. One thing it could be is a lack of pins in your arch lining. Check how much it moves. Sometimes they free up and bang about when you drive. clarkie34
Could be drop links if your lucky.Quite a few,me included have had to replace the lower suspension arm(banana bar) as the ball joint had collapsed.

cookiemonster
Was the suspension bushes when i had the same thing in my BMW, might not be the same thing as the Zed though.
dominicwellsuk
Despite the experiences of other guys on the forum, it could be anything, so unless you can self diagnose it, I'd get it into a decent garage to be sure. Mine turned out to be integral to the steering rack, despite the assumption it was one of the common things like drop link, TRE or banana bar. I guess you can benefit from the forum in terms of understanding where to look first, but it's always worth getting a professional opinion to avoid chasing the ruddy thing for weeks and letting it get worse.
